Light-up your Strata

We all know that since the arrival of COVID-19, we’re relying more and more on online shopping and home deliveries. In fact Australia Post reported a 36% increase in deliveries in the first 20 days of the Sydney lockdown. Supermarkets are also experiencing record demand for home delivery services and have substantially expanded their delivery times.

For residential strata schemes, this additional delivery traffic means common area lighting needs to be up-to-scratch to avoid trips and falls by delivery personnel and residents.

Sensor lighting on paths, walkways and garages are an awesome way to provide great safety lighting with the potential of reducing your strata’s power bills. They can be used for:

  • Outdoor path lights
  • Stairwells in low-rise strata schemes
  • Garage lighting
  • Garbage rooms so the light isn’t constantly left on
  • Other common areas

We recommend installing LED sensor lights because they are longer wearing than traditional fluorescent lights and they don’t need maintenance or regular globe changes.

LED lights are also kinder to the environment because they are highly energy efficient and don’t use mercury like florescent globes do.

The sensors can be programmed to turn on in sections so there is always plenty of light ahead of you.

No-one in the office? Use the time wisely by upgrading your office lights and kitchen powerpoints

With most staff working from home at the moment, things at your physical workplace are probably a little dark and quiet. But this could be the ideal time to shine more light around workstations, foyers, meeting rooms and reception areas.

Or perhaps it’s time to add some additional powerpoints in your workplace kitchen and breakout areas. Remember double adaptors and powerboards are not designed to accommodate the power loads generated by appliances like kettles, toasters, microwaves and sandwich presses.

If there is more than one appliance in use, it quickly becomes a fire hazard and could harm your staff when they return to the workplace.

While no-one’s around, ask us to come out to improve your workplace lighting and install some additional powerpoints. We offer remote quoting or we can provide an on-the-spot quote before we begin the work.

We offer contactless quoting in 3 simple steps

We currently offer contactless quoting. Then, if you wish to proceed, we can schedule your project now or add it to our “To Do Priority” list if we are unable to do it due to the lockdown restrictions.

Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1: To request a quote, simply email us and include:

  • Your name and phone number
  • A description of what you would like us to do
  • Photos of either the problem or the installation site (e.g. for powerpoints, strip lighting or data access points)

Step 2: We might give you a call to chat about your project. Then we’ll give you a ballpark figure so you know what to expect.

Step 3: If you would like to proceed, we’ll book you in or, if we are unable to do your project at the moment, we’ll pop you on our customer “To Do Priority” list. As soon as the restrictions lift, we’ll contact you to arrange your installation appointment.

It’s that easy.
