Sometimes it’s the little things that can make your home feel drab. So here are 5 ideas for simple home refreshes without the inconvenience and mess of a big renovation.
Refresh idea #1 – New lights
It’s amazing how different your home can feel with:

Refresh idea #2 – Replace yellowing powerpoints and light switches
Over time, white plastic light switches and powerpoints turn a grubby shade of yellow or grey. It doesn’t matter how much you try to clean them, the discolouring is an age thing and can’t be reversed.
There are all sorts of cool and stylish power point and light switch options as well as high tech light switches that can be operated from your smart phone. One of our favourite suppliers is Clipsal and you can find their powerpoint and switch range here.
So make your home look clean and fresh by asking us to replace your old discoloured powerpoints and light switches.
Refresh idea #3 – Embrace simple strip lighting
Strip lighting is a fine ribbon of LED lights that pack a punch. You’re most likely to find them:
So if you have a dark corner or work area that’s badly lit, chat to us about installing some strip lighting.
Refresh idea #4 – Improve your bathroom lighting
Whether it’s shaving or applying make-up, every bathroom needs good lighting but very few bathrooms have it. So if you are struggling to see your face clearly in the mirror, ask us to help you find the solution.
Refresh idea #5 – Install powerpoints where you need them
Have you lost powerpoints behind couches, cabinets and other furniture? Or perhaps your home was built with insufficient powerpoints for your needs. Let’s make 2022 the year you throw away your powerboards and extension cords! After all, they can be dangerous and a possible fire hazard. Ask us to replace them with extra powerpoints located where you need them.
